Research Interests
Economics and education, Education finance policy.
My current research focuses on investigating, conceptualizing, and theorizing school finance policies, methods of resource allocation to education (i.e. allocation mechanisms and funding formulae), and redistribution mechanisms. Specifically, I investigate the theoretical and empirical relationships between: (a) school finance policy, methods of resource allocation, and educational achievement distribution (EAD); and (b) the state's EAD, its competitiveness, and its social cohesiveness.
